We want a website, hosting and e-mail on a low budget, can you help?

Most certainly. Our entry level website design package is just £480 exc. VAT. It includes eight web pages; Home Page, About Us Page, two Service/Product Pages and an online Enquiry Form (MySQL). Please do not be put off by the low cost. Quality is maintained at all levels of work. All of our website are different, we do not use templates, repeated designs or website copies.
The first year's hosting is free and the following year is from just £45 exc. VAT. Our server, in the UK at London Docklands, is very fast (clara.net) and includes CPanel (online administration). |

FLASH, PHP, MySQL database processing, Purchase Order Systems, ecommerce shopping cart systems and ecommerce software development. Hourly rates are far more competitive. |

Is there any Quality Control?

| New clients are contacted by email and provided with a User Name, Password and the link to their online Project Administration Account. You are involved at each step of the website's development and your approval is required at each stage. Emails are automatically sent to you when changes are made and ready to review. There is a Project Audit Trail, from start to completion. This system ensures that the client gets the design they want and a website that does what they want it to do. |

What sets your company apart from other organisations?

Our slogan is "More Quality for Less Money". Our prices are very competitive because we have much lower overheads. However, this does not reduce the quality of our services. In fact we have more multi-skill resources than many of our competitors. All of our web sites look different, because each website is designed from scratch. We do not use standard templates and designs. A lot of web sites look the same because they are copied from the same style and format.
In addition, First UK Design owns a UK shopping mall, ukshopsrus.com, 300 dynamically linked UK town and city web sites. Your website is included as part of the hosting package. First UK Design owns more than 750 active web sites. |

| Yes. You have access to an online administration tool, which enables you to add Questions and Answers or modify existing entries. Once you have finished entering the information, you just click Submit and the FAQ page is updated. The programme will automatically format text and spacing on the web page. A FAQ page enables you to answer the most frequently asked questions. |

Is there an extra charge for PHP/MySQL database programming?

| No. Our basic website includes PHP scripts and database management. All information gathered from Web Forms is stored on the server, the data belongs to you. Some of our clients require active online databases and automated server (CRON) jobs. What would you like your website to do? |

Do you provide ecommerce web sites?
|
Yes. We provide ecommerce enabled web sites that include integration with Online Payment Transaction Gateways (merchant accounts). Each project is quoted individually because our ecommerce is customised to your products and services. We make ecommerce work for you!
We also own Shop in a Book ecommerce software: Shop in a Book ecommerce software, with unlimited categories and products, includes powerful online administration tools including WYSIWYG online web page editing. You choose the layout, colours, backgrounds, images and content. You use our marketing tools to create an attractive and easy-to-use ecommerce website . Shop in a Book is £255 exc. vat or £655 exc. vat for a unique shopping cart website design, payable 50% deposit on order and the balance on satisfactory completion.
We maintain the unique look and feel of your website. Many ecommerce software products have the same template format. All websites using that product look the same. A new industry has grown up, websites, selling ecommerce software template modifications. Same problem, all the template based websites look the same. All FUKDesign ecommerce websites look different.
Ecommerce clients are provided with a unique IP address, so that an SSL security certificate can be used. However, you can choose to use our secure server SSL certificate for free.

What is an Online Editable Page?
|
We provide as part of all of our website design specifications, and in Shop in a Book, a WYSIWYG text editor which provides easy online website editing of text and images. This administration tools enable you to make changes to text, images, pictures and links.
You can select, colours, background colours, text formats, sizes and other website features. It is the same as having a website design program on your computer.
If you do not have this facility, you may have to pay your website developer to make the changes for you. |

Do you provide FLASH?

| A small FLASH Home Page is an additional £50. Large FLASH projects are quoted separately. You provide us with the information relating to your required look and feel and with a step-by-step guide to the animation. We can take a logo or an image etc. and make it move, creating an eye-catching point of focus on your website. |
