You receive a telephone call and the software will check the telephone number within the SQL Customer database. It will look for all saved telephone numbers including land-line and mobile. Orders for sandwiches etc. from patient's visitors can be taken and processed without leaving the hospital private patient room area. It's automated! Just in case they are "asleep" in the food preparation area, the system will produce an audible alarm unit the order is acknowledged.
The system is a godsend for both patients and staff.
