In 2008, we were asked to develop a SKY TV automatic billing system to provides PAY TV facilities with or without EPOS connection. Whether you choose to install a complex telephone, EPOS and PAY TV system or a basic television distribution system, the program will give you complete control of all the televisions from a single computer.
The hotel television has been designed to maintain excellent picture and sound quality to each and every room. The system comprises a centrally located multi-media switch and a professionally installed digital and terrestrial head end. The media switch ca be linked to pre-installed telephone and EPOS systems for greater and more flexible management.
The TV systems uses standard CAT5/5e/6 cable to distribute video and audio (TV Signals) and Infrared. As the system is centrally located it can be completely managed and controlled from any TV location or reception desk PC or an administration PC. You can very simply control what TV channels are distributed on the the system and what channels can only be viewed from a specific location.
In most applications hoteliers would like to keep SKY sports channels shown only in the bar areas and not in the rooms. This is made simple in two ways, one is to block the rooms from viewing these particular channels but also give the bar staff complete control of the SKY decoder from the bar area. No need to go back to the central cabinet to select your desired channel. Barred channels can also be subscribed to using our simple management software, so you can charge for channel viewing on a room by room basis.
