We are manufacturing our own Touch Screen Kiosk which is being supplied to the Hospitality industry as a Restaurant Food Ordering system in any selected language and as a 24 hour Receptionist. Both of these projects are innovative and unique. A tourist at your hotel or restaurant can view you menu in their native language. They can select the food they want, including cooking options i.e. medium rare or no onions, and receive a small printout with a unique number. They can walk into your restaurant and present the ticket and the order is processed. The order was automatically placed on the system ready to action. The kiosk can provide information and essential contact details outside of normal working hours - your night-shift worker. It is easy to program from a PC.

SKY TV PROGRAM VIEWING SELECTION AND AUTOMATED BILLING IN AUSTRALIA

 Our latest project includes the control and management of watching SKY TV from your hospital bed. You can receive 10 channels for free and can pay for an additional 6 channels. Our software enables easy charging and authorisation to view any of the 6 payable channels from your bed. All of the "beds", could be 1,200+, are visible on the PC or Touch Screen with quick selection and processing. Billing is automatic by time viewed etc.

We are installing the software in 19 hospitals in Australia by the first week in November 2008, potentially 2,500 Australian sites. This system will be migrated into the Hotel, Motel markets, 4,000 possible Australian sites. There are other software providers in this field but the software is not easy to use and very expensive. First UK Design has come up with a powerful, easy to use, and inexpensive software solution. 

HOSPITAL PATIENT FOOD ORDERING SYSTEM FROM A MOBILE HAND-HELD  

Private Hospital Groups such as Australian RAMSAY Health Care http://www.ramsayhealth.co.uk  have 40 private patient units per hospital. RAMSAY have 22 private hospital units in the UK including the Horton NHS Treatment Centre, Oxford Road, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 9FG.

First UK Design has developed a system that enables Catering Staff to take food orders from patients, for today and the rest of the week, and send them from a hand-held touch screen epos terminal to the "canteen computer" by wireless. Orders for sandwiches etc. from patient's visitors can be taken and processed without leaving the hospital private patient room area. It's automated! Just in case they are "asleep" in the food preparation area, the system will produce an audible alarm unit the order is acknowledged.

The system is a godsend for both patients and staff.
