SMS to Printer |

UK Software Development have partnered with a specialist printer manufacture to provide a portable printer that can be programmed to send SMS to printer text messages or instructions from a server and provide a print-out.
It provides two-way communication, for example an order can sent to the SMS Printer from an online restaurant or takeaway website. We process the order on a server and send a GPRS message which includes all the food ordering information. You can ACCEPT the order and print the order for the kitchen. We have programmed a response that asks "how long will the food take to cook?" You enter the number of minutes i.e. 25, 30, 35 or 45 and press OK. A message is then sent back to the customer to confirm when the food will be cooked.
We have developed software that can interact with the printer and confirm Acceptance of the order and send back information confirming; how long to delivery etc.
The SMS to Printer can support any industry that requires printed information on the move; it can even be used as an inexpensive fax machine. Do you have an application?
